METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREPARING MOLDED PRODUCT COMPRISING EXPANDED SYNTHETIC RESIN

PURPOSE:To make it possible not only to perform work in a comfortable posture of a worker but also to make the same preferable from the standpoint of working safety in performing work for taking out a molded product or work for attaching auxiliary materials, by inclining the whole of a mold to the side of a mold opening part during manual work. CONSTITUTION:The upper mold 3 on a mold 1 is opened and closed by the actions of an upper mold opening and closing roller 6 and an upper mold opening and closing bar 10 while the mold 1 is inclined to the opening part side of the mold 1 or made horizontal by the actions of a mold inclining roller 22 and a mold iclining guide bar 23. The height of the mold inclining guide bar 23 is determined so that the mold 1 is inclined at an oblique angle of 15 deg. in a product outtake zone 17, a mold releasing agent coating zone 18 and an auxiliary materials attaching zone 14 and becomes horizontal in a cooling zone 19, a stock liquid injection zone 15 and a heat curing zone 16. By this mechanism, molded product outtake work having to require manual operation can be performed without excessively stooping and the fatigue of a worker is largely reduced and working efficiency is also enhanced.
