MANUFACTURE OF LAMINATE PLATE

PURPOSE:To obtain a laminate plate having good appearance and uniform property by a method in which a base material for a thermosetting resin-impregnated laminate plate is pressed between rolls before the resin is semi-hardened to form a pre-preg with flat surface and back sides, having excellent resin impregnability and excellent laminate moldability, and the pre-pregs are laminated. CONSTITUTION:A base material 1 (e.g., glass cloth, etc.) for a laminate plate, impregnated with a thermosetting resin (e.g., epoxy resin) in a dipping bath 6 is pressed by rolls 7 to sufficiently squeeze out excessive resin and sent to a drying chamber 3. The base material 1 is pressed between rolls 4 before the resin is semi-hardened (e.g., to a state of being hardened to an extent that the resin is not sticky at ordinary temperaure) to obtain a pre-preg 5. The pre-preg 5 is cut into desired size and a number of the cut pre-pregs 5 are laminated to obtain an objective laminate plate.
