Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To uniform pressing force on an original and prevent occurrence of skew by pressing the original only by the dead weight of loosened part of a rubber belt for carrying the original. CONSTITUTION:The rubber belt 1 for carrying originals is supported by belt rolls 2, 12 and a lower part is loosened. The lower part is brought into contact with the platen glass 4 of an original reading device 20. A driving roll 3 is provided facing the roll 2 and lets out the belt 1 by rotation in the direction of the arrow. Plural originals 6 are put on an original dish 9 and sent out by rolls 7, 8. The originals 6 are sent out one by one onto the platen glass 4 and pressed and carried by loosened part of the rubber belt 1 and collide to a resist stopper 5, and stopped at the position.
