Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To control the capacity of the titled device in order to save energy by a method wherein an opening is provided on the way of a cylinder stroke to change the effective stroke of the cylinder by the opening and closing of the opening. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid valve 11' is retracted and the opening 10' is opened, the opening 10' communicates with a swash plate chamber 5, communicating with low-pressure chambers 6, 6', and the stroke becomes S2 substantially. Accordingly, the discharging capacity of the compressor becomes S2X(pi/4)d1 . Thus, the capacity of the compressor may be controlled arbitrarily and easily by the operations of the solenoid valves 11, 11' and the energy may be saved.
