Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To improve water wettability of fins for a heat exchanger and enhance heat-exchanging efficiency, by a method wherein an appropriate heating step is provided in a rolling step, and a plurality of crater parts are formed at fin surfaces of a finished rolled article by heating. CONSTITUTION:By providing an appropriate heating step in a rolling step and appropriately heating an aluminum fin material at a temperature in the range from 400 deg.C to the melting point of the material, inclusive, a plurality of crater parts can be formed at the fin surfaces. An Fe component contained in the fin material has an effect on the formation of the crater parts. A heating atmosphere is not limited to the atmospheric air but may be an atmosphere of such a gas as oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen or argon. The component for forming the crater parts is not limited to the Fe component but may be any one which can form the crater parts at the fin surfaces when being heated. When using a component other than the Fe component, heating conditions are not specifically limited. |
