CONSTITUTION:An org. photoconductive compd. in a printing plate for electrophotographic photomechanical process having a layer contg. the org. photoconductive compd. and an alkali-soluble resin on a conductive substrate is represented by the formula shown here in which R1 is 1-11C alkyl, substd. or nonsubstd. phenyl or heterocyclic; R2, R3 are each H, 1-4C alkyl, chlorinated alkyl, or substd. or nonsubstd. aralkyl, and both may combine with each other to form an N-contg. hetero ring; and R4 is H, 1-4C alkyl, alkoxy, or halogen. The photoconductive layer is formed in 2-15mum thickness, and a suitable content of the photoconductive compd. in the photoconductive layer is 10-60wt%.
