STEREO DEMODULATING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To facilitate the control of stereo separation degree by supplying a composite signal which eliminates the leakage signal of the remote channel contained in L and R signals to a non-inverse input terminal of an operational amplifier which supplies the L and R signals to an inverse input terminal respectively. CONSTITUTION:An L channel signal contained in a composite signal is extracted by a switching circuit S1 and delivered via resistors R1-R3 and an operational amplifier IC1. This L channel signal contains the leakage component of an R channel signal. The composite signal is supplied to a non-inverse input terminal of the amplifier IC1 through resistors R7 and R8 to eliminate the L signal component. Thus the leakage component given from an R channel is eliminated and does not emerge at the L channel output. Such a description is also adapted to the R channel output signal. Thus it is possible to control the stereo separation degree by the resistors R7 and R8.
