Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To form a porous layer having excellent heat transmission performance by coating higher alcohol on the cleaned surface of a metal and further sticking a mixture composed of metallic powder and brazing material powder then subjecting the metal to brazing by heating in a nonoxidative atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a metallic material of Al, etc. is defatted and cleaned and thereafter higher alcohol such as hexyl alcohol, octyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol or the like is uniformly coated thereon. A powder mixture composed of powder of Al, etc. and Al-Si-Mg alloy powder as a brazing material is coated and stuck uniformly onto the surface coated thereon with the higher alcohol. Such metallic material is heated to about 605 deg.C in a nonoxidative or reducing atmosphere to braze the Al powder by the brazing material. The porous layer having much ruggedness and excellent heat transmission characteristics is formed on the surface. |
