Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To exhibit adsorbability of the captioned device up to the maximum, by adding aluminum powder into the getter material. CONSTITUTION:A container is filled with barium-aluminum alloy powder, nickel powder, nitride and aluminum powder, all of which act as getter material. The addition quantity of aluminum powder is preferably to be 1.6-3.8wt%. In the preparation of the barium-aluminum alloy, if excessive aluminum is charged in the composition, free aluminum may be existent present, but this aluminum is flaky and not mixed uniformly. Therefore, a particular phenomenon such like faster heating at a specific spot can take place in the case of forming a barium film by heating and lifted separation of getter material can also be generated. For this reason, aluminum powder to be added is desired to be a granular one, namely, not a flaky one.
