ELECTRIC ARC-FLUID POWER GENERATOR

PURPOSE:To eliminate the exhaust of electrons or valence particles by interrupting a field power source and simultaneously switching to a ground circuit when an output circuit is opened due to defect of an output electric circuit. CONSTITUTION:A drive medium is inputted from an inlet 29 to a spacer 6, and to a nozzle 3 to be accelerated. Electric power is supplied through a main electrode 1 and an arc electrode 2 from an arc power source 16 during this high speed medium, and an arc is generated between both electrodes 1 and 2. Valence particles reach an output electrode 10. When an output electric system becomes defective, an arc discharge of a valence particle generation source is disconnected and stopped from the power source 16 via the electrode 1 by a changeover switch 18, the electrode 1 is grounded to discharge the charge due to the generation of thermion after the arc is stopped.
