Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a coating compsn. adherent to substrates in a state of aqueous dispersion at ordinary temp., capable of yielding high film thickness, by dispersing film-forming constituents comprising powder of resins selected from PE, PP, and their derivatives, with low-MW oxidized PE (derivatives) in water. CONSTITUTION:Film-forming constituents comprising 69-99wt% powder consisting mainly of one or more resins selected from the group consisting of PE, PP, and their derivatives, and 1-40wt% low-MW oxidized PE and/or its derivatives are dispersed in water to yield a coating compsn. Said coating compsn. has the following characteristics: unspoiled usefulness of powder consisting mainly of resins comprising PE, PP, or their derivatives, good adhesion to substrates in a state of aqueous dispersion at ordinary temp., applicable in high film thickness, unnecessitated preheating at high temp., excellent in health and safety, and easiness of coating.
