DEVELOPING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent a partial decrease in density, formation of a white, etc., by providing an auger which distributes a developer in the inward direction of a device together with a waffle plate and a means which supplies supplementary toner onto the auger. CONSTITUTION:A developer falling at the right end of a scraper 12 rotates counter clockwise by a paddle 3; part of it enters the waffle plate 9 and the remainder enters the auger 13. The developer in the tank of this waffle plate 9 is stirred in the inward direction of the developing device 7 by the rotation of the waffle plate 9 and mixed with an unused developer. Further, a proper amount of toner supplied by a toner supplementing roll 6 falls on the auger 13 and is mixed sufficiently with said developer. Therefore, the ratio of the toner and carriers in the inward direction of the device becomes uniform and the partial decrease in density, formation of a white, etc., are prevented.
