STRUCTURE OF MOUNTING PART OF OPENABLE TYPE REAR SIDE WINDOW PANEL

PURPOSE:To improve appearance and quality, by a method wherein a pillar finisher is fastened to a moving part located in the vicinity of a fastening part on a rear side window panel side of a hinge member to eliminate a gap between the rear edge part of the finisher and a rear side window panel. CONSTITUTION:The front side edge of a rear side window panel 1 is openably mounted to a pillar outer 8a of a lock pillar 8 through a hinge member 7 made of a leaf spring material. A pillar finisher 12, made of resin and covering the outer surface of the pillar outer 8a, is attached to the outer surface thereof. A mounting hole 18 is formed in a moving part 7a of a hinge member 7, and a clip 12a, protruding toward the back of the pillar finisher 12, is energized with the mounting hole 18. This causes the pillar finisher 12 to be secured to said moving part 7a, and permits elimination of a gap between the rear edge part of the finisher 12 and the rear side window panel 1.
