Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To save the cost of equipment and the cost of electric power by installing a secondary metal-halogen battery in an equipment for manufacturing halogen and by using halogen generated in the battery and the equipment interchangingly. CONSTITUTION:A secondary metal-halogen battery is installed in an equipment for manufacturing halogen. Halogen generated during the charge of the battery is added to halogen obtd. in the equipment, and they are taken out as a product. When the battery is discharged, part of halogen obtd. in the equipment is taken out and fed to the battery. Accordingly, halogen generated by charging inexpensive electric power at night is used together with the halogen from the equipment and taken out as a product. In the daytime, part of halogen obtd. in the equipment is fed to the battery to generate electric current.
