RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To change reception mode such as a main channel, a subchannel and a both-channel modes successively and to reduce the number of changeover switches by providing a changeover switch which when operated, outputs a switching signal and a shift register which inputs said signal as a shift pulse. CONSTITUTION:To a chattering preventing circuit 14, a mode changeover switch S1 which outputs a switching signal by every switching operation is connected and its signal A is applied to a shift register 15. Output terminals G, H, and I of this register 15 correspond to input terminals D, E, and F of a matrix circuit 10 connected to a main sound filter part 5 and a sub sound detection part 6. Every time the signal A is inputted, switching signal A' is outputted from the terminals G, H, and I successively to output a main channel, a subchannel, and a both-channel signal from the output terminals L and R of the circuit 10 successively, and one changeover switch S1 changes reception mode, thus simplifying the constitution of a sound multiplex broadcast receiver of TV.
