COAL GRANULATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To enable the stable operation of a coal granulation apparatus, and to obtain granulated coal having stable quality, by using a plurality of agitation and granulation tanks arranged in a row interposing partition plates therebetween, and furnishing the partition plate with a means for controlling the concentration of coal-water slurry. CONSTITUTION:A slurry of coal powder and water is added with a binder such as fuel oil, and the mixture is supplyed to the first agitation and granulation tank 22a of a plurality of agitation and granulation tanks arranged in a row interposing partition plates therebetween. The concentration of the coal water slurry is controlled by the controlling device attached to the partition plate. The slurry is agitated by the driving means 23a to start the granulation of coal powder. When the granulation of coal is proceeded to an extent in the first agitation and granulation tank 22a, the slurry is transferred through an overflow pipe successively to the second agitation and granulation tank 22b, the third agitation and granulation tank 22c, etc. to obtain granulated coal.
