Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:The titled flame-resistant polymer capable of forming fibers excellent in resistance to loss of transparency, and dyeability, prepared by copolymerizing acrylonitrile, vinyl chloride, a sulfonic acid group-containing monomer and methallylsulfonic acid group-containing monomer under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:An acrylonitrile polymer which is a copolymer consisting of (A) 40-80wt% acrylonitrile, (B) 16-59.9wt% vinyl chloride (and/or vinylidene chloride) and (C) 0.1-4wt% sulfonic acid group-containing vinyl monomer (e.g., sodium styrenesulfonate) and methallylsulfonic acid group-containing monomer (e.g., sodium methallylsulfonate) each having a monomer reactivity ratio higher than that of acrylonitrile, said copolymer being formed in such a manner that, in its polymerization reaction, more than half of the methallylsulfonic acid group-containing monomer is added while the sulfonic acid group-containing vinyl monomr is being added to the polymerization system. |
