DEVICE FOR FEEDING SLUDGE INTO INCINERATING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable transferring capacity by a method wherein a single thread screw is provided in a feeder casing to push out the sludge into a chute continuously under compressing it so that the filling rate of the sludge will become 100% at the conical tapered section of the feeder casing. CONSTITUTION:The chute 15, projected into an introducing port 2 or a tubular body 6, is connected to the feeder casing 10 through the conical tapered section 14 narrowed as it goes into the feeding direction thereof, while the chute 15 and a dispersing equipment 5 are corresponding each other. The single thread screw shaft 12 is inserted into the feeder casing 10 to push out the sludge continuously into the chute 15 under compressing it so that the filling rate of it at the conical tapered section 14 will become 100%, while the free end at the feed-out side of the single thread screw 12 is ended at a place before the chute 15 or the border of the tapered section 14 so that the interior of the chute 15 will become an air seal section 16. According to this method, the stable transferring capacity with respect to the physical change of a substance to be transferred may be obtained.
