CASING EXHAUSTER FOR HYDRAULIC MACHINE

PURPOSE:In a hydraulic machine where the water is taken through a suction pipe below a runner and pressurized while provided with a feed pipe for compensating the water leakage from a casing, to enable the continuous running of a main machine safely by providing an exhaust valve which will open for the predetermined time on condition that the power source has reset in such case as the power source for the auxiliary machine is missed during the idling of the runner on the top of the casing. CONSTITUTION:A water wheel runner 1 is coupled through a main shaft 3 to a generator 2. The water led from the upper reservoir will flow through an inlet valve 7 into the casing 5 then passes through a guide vane 4 to rotate the runner 1 to reach to a suction pipe 8. A feed pipe 9 for the water leakage is extended from the suction pipe 8 and conducted to the top of the casing while a valve 11 which will open during the idling of the main machine is provided in the proximity of the top. An exhaust valve 12 is also provided at the top of the casing which will open for the predetermined time on condition that the power source has reset in such case as the power source for the auxiliary machine in the station has missed during the idling of the main machine.
