Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To cut out a steel fiber reinforcing member having a short length of 30mm. or so from a material consisting of steel piece by use of a milling cutter which is rotatable around a spindle. CONSTITUTION:The captioned apparatus consists of a cutting part 5 and a material holding and feeding part 6, and a milling cutter 2 which revolves around a spindle is held on the cutting part 5. The material holding and feeding unit 6 is provided with a feeding device 12 which holds a material 1 consisting of steel pieces, transfers them horizontally so as to assign the fed and cut guantity per cycle. The material 1 is advanced being, held by a clamper 14, and the front surface of the raw material is cut and ground in the advance cycle of the cutter 2. Then, the material is retreated, and the cutter is retreated, and this cycle is repeat.
