TRANSFER DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the transfer efficiency and prevent the occurrence of a spark through a transfer roll, by installing a transfer discharger provided with an aperture through which electric charge is radiated to the transfer roll and an image carrier. CONSTITUTION:A discharger 3 is installed which is provided with a case having an aperture through which electric charge is radiated to the circumferential face of a transfer roll 2 and the surface of a photosensitve drum 1. After a toner image is transferred to a transfer paper 5 with electrophoresis by the electric field which is generated by the discharger 3 and has the charge of an electric polarity opposite to that of the toner, the toner image is transferred through the roll 2 by electrophoresis and mechanical press-contact force. By this constitution, the image is transferred efficiently, and the occurrence of a spark due to the transfer roll to which a high voltage is not applied, to prevented to form a transferred image quickly and well.
