Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enhance the collection effect of suspended magnetic particles as well as to facilitate the washing thereof, by a method wherein a matrix provided to the total surface of the inner diameter of a vessel of an electromagnetic filter is constituted of a ferromagnetic bars having trianglular cross sections are arranged in plural stages at predetermined intervals. CONSTITUTION:A matrix interposed between ball pieces in a vessel is constituted of bars having triangular cross sections made of a ferromagnetic material, for example, SUS430. This bars 10 are arranged over the total inner diameter of the vessel at intervals of about 0.5-3.0mm.. In addition, through rod shaped spacers 11 having rectangular cross sections made of a material other than the ferromagnetic material, for example, SUS302, the bars 10 are stacked in plural stages at stacked intervals of about 1.0-5.0mm. in a vertical direction as well as arranged in a zigzag pattern. By this structure, a magnetic field with high gradient is generated in good efficiency to enhance the collection of suspended magnetic particles as well as the removal of collected particles can be easily carried out when washing is carried out.
