Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To automatically execute multi-layer welding to a curved part between a shell and manhole, etc., by providing R axis and Z axis direction operating mechanisms for giving automatic and manual displacement to a nozzle head, on a horizontal beam of a device body. CONSTITUTION:A manhole 2 is tacked to a shell 1, and to the port edge of the manhole 2, a base frame 13 of a device body 11 is centripetally installed. To a support 12 on the base frame 13, a horizontal beam 10 is supported so as to be freely idling, and to the tip of the horizontal beam 10, a Z axis direction operating mechanism 9 is supported so as to be freely movable in the horizontal direction, and to the Z axis direction operating mechanism 9, an R axis direction operating mechanism 8 is supported so as to be freely movable in the horizontal direction. To the R axis direction operating mechanism 8, a block 30 having a nozzle head 7 is installed so as to be controlled a position freely. In accordance with an instruction of a computer, the horizontal beam 10 and the R axis and Z axis direction operating mechanisms 8, 9 are operated, the tip of a nozzle 6 is made to face an optional position, and continuous multi-layer welding is executed by a manual operation and an automatic operation.
