MAGNETIC VIDEO RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent an error in operation and an error in video recording by displaying a signal on a screen until a tape is drawn out of a tape cassette and loaded around a head cylinder. CONSTITUTION:With a run button 9 pressed, loading is started by a loading device 7 through a loading control circuit 8 and a signal is sent to a display picture signal generator 10. The picture signal generator 10 inputs a vertical synchronizing signal V and a horizontal synchronizing signal H from a recording signal processing circuit 2 and inputs them to an AND gate 15 through monostable multivibrators 11 and 12, and 13 and 14 to AND them, thereby generating a signal for displaying a rectangular picture at an adequate lower position in a screen. This signal and a loading signal L are gated by a gate 16 to display the picture at the adequate lower position on a monitor television screen 5 through a playback signal processing circuit 4. The signal L is supplied to a voltage sweeping circuit 17 to move the display signal to right successively. Thus, an error in operation and an error in video recording are prevented.
