FUEL INJECTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To perform fuel injection at an optimum speed in a full range of revolution, by arranging speed of an injection plunger adjustable through a mechanism and providing the mechanism between a fuel injection cam and fuel injection plunger. CONSTITUTION:An injection speed adjusting device 16, capable of adjusting speed of a plunger 8, comprises a deflecting arm 12, movable to a direction at a right angle with the axial direction of a shuttling rod 4, and a shaft 13, a supporting point of the arm 12, and the device is provided between a fuel injection cam 2 and fuel injection plunger 8. In this way, speed of the shuttlng rod 4 is accelerated or decelerated by the cam 2 and transmitted to the plunger 8 in accordance with ratio b/a. Accordingly, in a high speed range of an engine, the shaft 13, that is, a bearing 14 is moved to the plunger 8, if b/a is decreased, an injection speed can be arranged not to excessively increase. While in a low speed range, the shaft 13 is shifted lefward, and an optimum injection speed can be obtained.
