SCROLL TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To make reexpansion volume small and to substantially eliminate loss in compression work, by forming a discharge hole in a truncated cone shape and by forming a valve part in a truncatd cone shape having a diameter slightly larger than that of the discharge hole. CONSTITUTION:Since there is provided such as arrangement that a valve part 351 in a truncated cone shape is opposed to a discharge port 255 in a truncated shape, pressure loss due to the flow resistance of discharge gas upon valve opening is small and a wide opening area may be obtained even with a small displacement of a valve element 35. Further, since the valve part 351 is made enter deeply into the discharge hole 255 upon valve closing, the reexpansion volume is extremely small and therefore, loss in compression work may be substantially eliminated. Further more, since the discharge port 255 is opened and closed by the positional movement of the valve element 35 in the axial direction thereof, spacial effect affected to the design of a radially outer part, may be eliminated.
