Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To facilitate the removal of a solvent, by jetting a solution of a rubber-like polymer in an organic solvent formed by a reaction from orifices, jetting steam on the jetted stream to cut the solution into fine droplets, mixing the resultant fine droplets with water, and supplying the mixture to hot water to give an aqueous dispersion of the polymer having a fine particle diameter. CONSTITUTION:A solution, containing preferably 5-20wt% rubber-like (co) polymer, e.g. a conjugated diolefin, formed by the solution polymerization is jetted from fine orifices 7, and high-speed steam introduced from a conduit 3 at a speed preferably as high as 200-300m/sec is jetted from a slit 9 on the jetted stream while rotated in the circumferential direction of an outer pipe 8 to cut the solution into fine droplets. The resultant fine droplets are then brought into contact and mixed with water, introduced from a conduit 4 at preferably at 50-80 deg.C, and rotating in the same direction as the steam. The resultant mixture is then introduced into hot water 12 preferably at 90-120 deg.C in a steam stripper 11 to give an queous slurry of the rubber-like polymeric waste having usually 4-6mm. particle diameter. The evaporated unreacted monomer and organic solvent are then recovered from a conduit 13.
