GARNISH CONSTITUTION FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To prevent the upper end of a garnish from falling indoors by providing a projected lip on the opposite surfaces of inner and outer flanges of a clamping member formed in garnish construction and giving additional strength to the lips in the specified locations of the inner and outer flanges. In this case, a stronger material is used for the lips 12 on the lower end of the inner flange 5 and the upper end of the outer flange 6 so as to prevent the garnish 1 from falling down indoors, resisting against the dead weight of the garnish 1 and the reaction forces of a head lining 9, etc., provided between a garnish upper end 1a and a roof side rail inner 4.
