CONTROLLING AGENT AGAINST COCKROACH

PURPOSE:The titled agent, prepared by incorporating boric acid or borax in a medium, e.g. potato, to be a food for cockroaches, and forming the resultant mixture in a desired shape, capable of gathering the cockroaches well in the medium, easily eaten, and capable of withstanding the use for a long term, and usable economically and easily. CONSTITUTION:A controlling agent against cockroaches, prepared by incorporating boric acid (B2O3) or borax (Na2B4O7.10H2O) in a medium, e.g. a potato, taro or wheat flour, to be a food for the cockroaches, and forming the resultant mixture in a desired shape. The potato is boiled, and the skin is peeled and mashed. The wheat flour is mixed with water to be a viscous state and formed into the desired shape. Alternatively, the potato may be previously powdered and mixed with water to be a viscous state, and the resultant mixture may be formed. About 50g boric acid or borax is incorporated in 1kg medium. The agent is capable of destroying the cockroaches effectively with certainty.
