Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To uniform the characteristics of a crystal oscillator by providing numbers of terminal metallic fixtures successively, and then automating assembling operation. CONSTITUTION:A thin beltlike metallic plate is worked by forming numbers of terminal metallic fixtures 6 by a means for punching work to obtain a frame 9. The frame 9 is formed having couples of upper and lower terminal metallic fixtures 6 in respective sections. Then, those metallic fixtures have tips worked in an Y shape to obtain terminal metallic fixtures 6a and 6b. A container 7b is coated previously coated with low melting point glass at a prescribed internal part of its edge part, and adhered and fixed to the terminal metallic fixtures 6a and 6b in every section from the reverse. On the frame 9 placed horizontally, a quartz piece 5 sucked by an air chuck provided atop of the arm of a robot is placed in every section to be supported by the supporting parts of the terminal metallic fixures 6a and 6b. A conductive paint is dripped on respective supporting parts of the terminal metallic fixtures by a quantitative discharger, etc., and then heated to set.
