Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent overheat of suction gas and improve a volumetric efficiency by a method wherein suction pipes are formed integrally at both sides of a heat insulating cover, covering a discharge silencer, and the insulating cover is attached to the outer wall of the discharge silencer while the suction pipes are attached to a head cover. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 23, having a heat insulative property, is covered around the outer periphery of the discharge silencer 16. Said cylindrical body 23 is formed with suction pipes 24 integrally at both sides thereof and the heat insulating cover 25 is covered to the discharge silencer 16 while the tip ends of the suction pipes 24 are inserted into the head cover 7. According to this method, heat transmission from high temperature discharging gas, passing through the discharge silencer 16, to suction medium gas is percluded surely and the suction gas will never be overheated while the volumetric efficiency may be improved. Further, the cylindrical body 23 and the suction pipes 24 are formed integrally, therefore, the number of components is reduced and the cost thereof may be reduced while miniaturization of the compressor may be realized.
