REFLECTOR ANTENNA

PURPOSE:To prevent the attachment of ice or snow on the surface of a reflector, by converting a part of a rotary paraboloidal surface into a reflector surface and providing at least a reciprocating slider on the reflector surface to make use of the reciprocal motion of the sliding device. CONSTITUTION:A driving part 4 of a reciprocating slider is formed on the rear side of a reflector surface 3 of a reflector antenna, and a sliding part 5 of said slider is provided on the upper surface of the surface 3. If the ice or snow attaches to the antenna, the part 4 is actuated. Thus the part 5 coupled to the part 4 has the reciprocating motions on the surface 3 to remove the ice or snow on the surface 3. These ice and snow slip down on the surface 3 owing to the own- weight.
