Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To work a curved surface with a constant thickness with high accuracy and a high speed by measuring the shape of a workpiece at plural number of measuring points on the reference surface of the workpiece, detecting an error from a set value and also estimating errors at other points with straight line interpolation and circular arc interpolation. CONSTITUTION:When a continuously curved surface shaped workpiece such as a turbin blade, etc., is finished into a constant thickness, the shape of the curved surface of the workpiece 2 is measured at a plural number of set measuring points taking the curved surface on its one side as the reference surface B. Errors DELTAB1-DELTABN between actual measured values B1-BN at respective measuring points and set points B1'-BN' on a working program are detected, and from these errors, those errors at their middle points are estimated by straight line interpolation or circular interpolation. By working the other side curved surface of the workpiece 2 into a shape obtaned by correcting said error values, it is possible to work a workpiece into a constant thickness and increase a working speed because of reduced measuring points.
