Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a metallized article excellent in adhesion, smoothness, durability, etc., by applying a cured film of an energetic ray-curable, cationically polymerizable resin composition to the surface of the vinyl chloride resin article and metalizing the film layer. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition is prepared which contains 10-95wt% energetic ray-curable, cationically polymerizable resin composition (e.g., aliphatic epoxy resin containing an epoxy group in the alicyclic ring) containing a compound which, when irradiated with energetic rays, releases a substance which initiates cationic polymerization (e.g., aryloxysulfoxonium salt, iodoform) and a photopolymerization initiator. Then this resin composition is applied to the surface of a vinyl chloride resin article and the applied resin composition is cured by energetic ray irradiation to form a cured film layer. Then the surface of this cured film layer is metalized to obtain the purpose metalized article.
