MEMBER CONVEYING MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To feed a conveyed member to the direction at a right angle without causing the stop of a flow of the conveyed member, by crossing a Y-directional conveyer at a right angle with a specific feed X-directional conveyer, providing the Y-directional conveyer in a lower position than of the X-directional conveyer and connecting the both conveyers with a cross conveyer. CONSTITUTION:Horizontal height of a conveyer 3 is positioned lower than height of a conveyer 1. In this way, when a feed direction is changed from X to Y by a cross conveyer 4, bridge linked between the conveyers 1, 3, a member 2 can be adequately transferred to a central part A of the other conveyer 3. This member conveying mechanism is operated in such a manner that the member 2, processed with work in the preceding step, is conveyed from the conveyer 1 in the specific direction X to reach an end part 1a, and transferred riding on the cross conveyer 4, if the member 2 reaches a point A on the other conveyer 3, the member 2 changes to ride on the other conveyer 3 and is transferred to the direction Y then fed to the next step.
