CODE INFORMATION TRANSMISSION SYSTEM BY FACSIMILE

PURPOSE:To transmit code information together with an image signal by connecting a keyboard to the transmission side of facsimile equipment in group 3 standard (standardized by The International Telegraph and Telephone Consultative Committee) through an interface part and an error correction code adding means, and providing an error correction code decoding means on the reception side. CONSTITUTION:When character information is inputted on a keyboard 10, a check bit is added to the information bits by an error correction code adding means 8 through an interface part 9, and the information is stored in an RAM3 through a control part 6. To transmit the information together with original image data, a specific signal for showing the presence of code information is added behind the negative last one-line end signal of the original image data, and thus termination of the negative data is indicated, thereby transmitting the code information to be stored in the RAM3 next. On a reception side, when the specific signal is detected, an error if occurring is corrected and then code bits are inputted to and processed by an electronic computer 12.
