CONSTITUTION:The spike height of a magnetic brush of a magnetic brush developing device 2 is adjusted with a mechanism including a developer control plate 5 forming a part of a hopper 11, a developer scrape-up plate 6 attached opposite to the plate 5, an opening masking plate 9, and plural developer passing openings 7 provided to the plate 5.
