OINTMENT BASE COMPOSITION FOR ATHLETE'S FOOT

PURPOSE:The titled composition, containing a specific glyceride and a polyalkylene glycol in combination as a principal component and having a powerful drug effect on athlete's foot and a good touch. CONSTITUTION:An ointment base composition for athlete's foot containing 2- 20wt% mono-, di- or triglyceride of a 2-14C fatty acid, e.g. acetic or propionic acid, 5-30wt% compound, expressed by the formula[(X) is residue of a compound having 1-10 active hydrogen atoms; (A) is C3H6, C4H8, etc.; (l) is 15- 50; (m) is 20-250; (n) is 1-10], and having an average molecular weight >=2,500 based on one functional group, or a compound obtained by esterifying all or part of the hydroxyl groups in the compound expressed by the formula[(X), (A) and (n) are the same as described above; (l)
