Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make smooth the start of a device and to prevent damage to a magnetic head and a magnetic disc at start, by providing a magnetic head heater supported near the magnetic head during the operation stop of a magnetic disc device. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic disc device stops operation and a magnetic head 2 is contacted on the surface of a magnetic head 1, stopped and supported, then a magnetic head heater 5 is supported opposingly to the surface of the magnetic disc 1 near the head 2, and the heater 5 is movably supported at a location not opposing to the magnetic disc 1 when the magnetic disc device is in operation and the magnetic disc 1 keeps rotation. For example, at the start of the magnetic disc, a high frequency voltage is applied to the heater 5 to heat the magnetic head, allowing to evaporate the moisture being a cause to an adsorbing force between the magnetic head 2 and the magnetic disc 1.
