MEASURING DEVICE FOR WHEEL WEIGHT

PURPOSE:To realize the accurate detection of a shaft and to ensure the accurate measurement of the weight of a wheel with simple constitution, by detecting both the traveling direction of a car and the car passing signal based on the wheel detecting signals produced from both the wheels. CONSTITUTION:Wheel weight signals which are detected by wheel weight detectors GR1, GR2, GL1 and GL2 of the left and right wheels are converted into wheel weight signals S1 and S2 through amplifiers 4a and 4b plus filters 5a and 5b. The highest levels of the wheel weight signalsis are held by the high-rank holders 6a and 6b to be turned into the wheel weight signals S3 and S4. At the same time, the signals S1 and S2 are turned into the forward shaft signal S5 and the backward shaft signal S6 through a shaft detector 10 to be supplied to a controller 11. Thus an A/D conversion 8 is given to the signals S3 and S4, and the wheel weight value is stored in a register 9.
