1496182 Hand grips GEBR HAPPICH GmbH 3 Oct 1975 [15 Oct 1974] 40617/75 Heading B7L A vehicle hand grip comprises a flat injectionmoulded strap made from tension-proof synthetic plastics material, the strap having a central part 3 and integral end tabs 1 and 2, of different widths, each tab being formed with a hole 5 therein whereby the strap can be mounted in a vehicle by bending the strap into a loop 4 with the tabs in register and thereafter passing a securing screw through the holes 5. The narrower tab 1 has a recess 7 therein to receive a registering projection 8 on the tab 2, which latter also has a recess 6 to receive the head of the securing screw. The tab 1 has an integral cap 10 connected thereto by a film hinge 9 which cap has internal beads 11 thereon to engage the edges of the tab 2 when the cap is turned downwardly over the secured tabs. In a modification the cap has an integral projection which serves as a hook when the cap is turned downwardly over the tabs.
