EXAMPLE:5-[2-[(1,4-Benzodioxan-2-ylmethyl)amino]acetyl]-1,3-benzpdioxole. USE:Useful as a hypotensor. It has rapid and long-acting drug action, low acute toxicity, and high safety. PROCESS:The compound of formulaIwherein X is group of formula II can be prepared, e.g. by reacting the halogenoacetylalkylenedioxybenzene derivative of formula IV (Y is halogen) with the amine of formula V preferably in a solvent such as water, dioxane, etc. usually at -10-+150 deg.C, preferably between 0 deg.C and room temperature. The obtained compound can be converted to another compound of formulaIwherein X is group of formula III by treating with a metal hydride salt in a solvent.
