PURPOSE:To obtain total data with a simple control for stop and establishment of transaction, by providing two hard total memories to store the total just before stop of transaction into one memory when transaction is stopped by the operation of a transaction stop key. CONSTITUTION:Transaction data for every transaction which is input by numeric keys TK and function keys FK of keyboard KB is selected by classifier CLS and is added to total counters TC1-TCn in the first memory TM1, and total data is obtained by operator or operating part CUL and is stored in counters TC1-TCn. This stored data is stored into total counters TC1'-TCn' of the second memory TM1' by the operation of transaction end key EK of keyboard KB. Then, gate G1 is opened by the operation of transaction stop key SPK provided on keyboard KB to transfer contents of memory TM1' to counters TC1-TCn, and thus, the total value is obtained for transaction stop by the simple operation.
