Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To determine quantitatively arabinonucleoside and its analogue with high accuracy, by using an antibody prepared from an antigen in which carrier protein is combined with hydroxy radical group of 3'-position of arabinonucleoside via dicarboxylic acid residue. CONSTITUTION:In a quantitative determination of arabinonucleoside and its analogue in a living body tissue, blood, urine etc., a blood serum obtained by immunizing a house rabbit by an antigen in which carrier protein (serum albumin etc.) is combined with hydroxy group of 3'-position of arabinonucleoside via dicarboxylic acid residue, is used for an antibody. This antibody and the arabinonucleoside labelled with a radio isotope, enzyme, fluorescence material, are brought into contact with a sample and the activity, fluorescence and radioactivity of the labelled material of a combined body of the antigen-antibody- labelled antigen formed by a competitive reaction of said antibody, the arabinonucleoside in the sample and the labelled antigen, are measured and the arabinonucleoside and its analogue in the sample are detected specifically with high accuracy. In this manner, the concentration in a living body of the arabinonucleoside using for a remedy of a cancer, is measured and it is useful for medical treatment.
