Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enhance accuracy in analysis, by fixing the light emitting mode of laser light to a Gaussian distribution type TEMOO mode, and obtaining the analyzed value when the intensity of a specified spectral line in light emitted from a sample or an intensity ratio of specified pairs of spectral lines is within a specified range. CONSTITUTION:A mode locking mechanism (not shown in the Figure) is incorporated in a laser oscillator 10. Emitted laser light is fixed to a Gaussian distribution type TEMOO mode. A monitoring light detector 28 detects dispersed light of light emitted from a sample, which is guided to a spectroscope 22 by a spectroscope optical system 24. A spectral intensity monitor 32 and a gate circuit 34 are provided. When the intensity of the spectral line of the light from the sample or an intensity ratio of specified pairs of spectral lines is within a specified range, the gate 34 is opened, and the analyzed value is displayed on a display part 36. In this way, highly accurate analysis can be performed regardless of the fluctuation in laser output intensity and the like.
