Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable the long-term and continuous application of a paint which is vulnerable to solidification by drying by atomizing the paint by the two effects of the high voltage applied between a rotary cup and a substrate and compressed air flow. CONSTITUTION:When compressed air is supplied from a compressor 22, the compressed air flow of a high velocity is ejected from the micro spacing 24 formed between the outside circumferential surface of an inside cylindrical body 2 and the inside circumferential surface of an outside cylindrical body 3 toward the side of a substrate. Then, negative pressure is developed on the inside of a rotary cup 1 with respect to the atmospheric pressure, and the paint discharged from the forward end part 19a of a paint flow pipe 19 is attracted with the flow of the compressed air and is diffused to four ways while the paint is atomized. A high voltage is held applied between the cup 1 and the substrate so that the painting free from uneven coating is accomplished by the incidental atomization effect of static electricity and the central atomization effect by the air and the sticking and depositing of the paint on the inside circumferential surface of the cup are reduced.
