FORMULATION FOR CHLORINATED ISOCYANURIC ACID COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:When colorants and/or odorizers are added to the titled composition that are used in bleaching, disinfection or washing, these additives are adsorbed on carboxymethylcellulose or its salt, then added to the compsn., thus improving the stability of the composition. CONSTITUTION:Colorants such as pigments or dyes and/or odorizers such as perfumes are adsorbed on carboxymethylcellulose or its salt such as sodium or calcium salt. The resultant product is added to a chlorinated isocyanuric acid composition composed of trichloroisocyanuric acid, its alkali metal salt and/or its hydrate, inorganic compounds as builders and a surface active agent, thus enabling the resultant composition to be stored stably, without reaction between these additive and the chlorinated compound to cause decomposition or other changes, resulting in giving stable color and odor, when the composition is dissolved in water.
