Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable dock-in and out operation without using a traction rope while to automatize the operation, by coupling a surface processing truck with a dock-in and out truck. CONSTITUTION:When performing the dock-in and out operation, two trucks 4, 5 for each dock-in and out systems 3 are coupled then the truck 5 is lifted. When the bow of a ship 52 has entered into the dock 1 by some degree, an arm 47 is rotated to adsorb the side strake by an adsorbing board 49. Thereafter two dock-in and out systems 3 or a surface processing truck 4 and a dock-in and out truck 5 are moved to the dock rear side while adjusting the attitude of the ship 52 by a tugboat to guide the ship 52 into the dock 1. After completion of dock-in, the truck 5 is lowered to separate two trucks 4, 5. consequently the surface processing truck 4 is separated from the dock-in and out truck 5 to perform the hull surface processing work independently.
