Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To measure simply the concentration of salt, by wiping up the salt stuck to a fixed area of the surface to be measured by a soft water-absorbing material containing pure water and dissolving the salt containing in the water- absorbing material into the pure water and then, measuring the electric conductivity of this liquid and moreover, comparing the result with a calibration curve. CONSTITUTION:Salt stuck to a fixed area of the surface to be measured is wiped up by a water-absorbing material such as gauze or absorbent cotton containing pure water and the salt containing in the water-absorbing material is dissolved into the pure water. Then, the electric conductivity of this liquid is measured and the concentration of the salt is found by a calibration curve of the preliminarily found electric conductivity with respected to the concentration of the salt. The concentration of the salt is measured simply without requiring a chemical operation. |
