Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To both reduce a mechanical loss at no use of a pump and compactly form an area around an outboard engine, by driving the pump with a cam shaft through a coupling device disengageable for the shaft end of the cam shaft of the outboard engine. CONSTITUTION:Rotation of a crankshaft 7 of an engine 1 in the upper part of an outboard engine is transmitted to a propeller by a driving shaft 16 while the outboard engine is steered by a steering handle 5. While a cam shaft driving pulley 9 is interlocked by a timing belt 8 for the shaft 7, and a pump 12 is disengageably coupled to the end part of a cam shaft 10 of the pulley 9 by a mechanical clutch device consisting of a driving side clutch 11A and a driven side clutch 11B. Then the clutch device is disengaged when the pump 12 is not used, and if the clutch device is engaged at use of the pump, the the pump 12 is driven by power of the engine 1, and seawater is sucked from a suction pipe 14A to flow in throug a delivery pipe 14B and supplied onto a ship body. |
